With more than 35 years as a professional photographer, I am one of the most experienced photographers currently working in the Yosemite, Mariposa, Merced, Oakhurst, and Madera regions.
As a resident of Yosemite National Park and Mariposa County, and as a photographer in Yosemite, I am involved in all aspects of photography. With over 30 years experience just here in Yosemite I have photographed over 3000 weddings. Also over the past 20 years I have been leading the "Yosemite Sunrise Photo Workshops”, along with photographing for books, postcards, calendars, photo journalism, family portraits and all types of memorial events. I have the experience to photograph your event.

I am the "Official Resident Photographer for the Yosemite Chapel" I have photographed, and I am familiar with almost all Wedding and Event venues from Sonora on the north to Sequoia National Park on the south and many of the most well known Wineries throughout California.
Even with all my experience you may be very surprised at just how affordable my Wedding and Event packages are. In fact, many clients that would otherwise not even have a professional photographer hire me when they get my information package.
As you might imagine, living in Yosemite and the Sierras has enabled me to locate and identify where many exceptionally wonderful photo opportunities are found, in, and around Yosemite and Mariposa.
I am an "Environmental Photographer". I always try to include some part of the environment in your photos. In Yosemite, Inspiration Point, El Capitan, Bridalvail Falls, Yosemite Falls, The Majestic Yosemite Hotel and Half Dome are just a few of the many dramatic backdrops that may be available for your portraits. I also always include the more personal images, such as casually sitting on an old log, a rock or interacting in a small natural scene along the Merced River.
