Tire Chains
It isn't uncommon for Yosemite to require ALL passenger cars to have tire chains or cables in the car in order to enter the park during the Winter months. Be sure to check if chains are currently required HERE.

Arrive Early
Roads leading into Yosemite can have wait times in excess of an hour along with traffic jams throughout the park. Plan to leave 2 hours early to make sure you arrive at your destination in time.
